“Best Of Door County” Art Gallery to Welcome New Artists

Plum Bottom Gallery invites you to our New Artist Welcome on Sat. April 17 from 10 AM - 4 PM. This show will feature the work of Trisha Spice, Deborah Stull-Kinsley, Tom Smith, and Paula Radl. These artists create inspirational framed wall art perfect for any home. The gallery is happy to welcome you to our Plum Bottom Road and Downtown Egg Harbor location to view the show in person. We will also bring the show to you virtually on PlumBottomGallery.com. Plum Bottom Gallery continues to follow CDC and State of Wisconsin Department of Health COVID-19 guidelines.
Spice uses acrylic and copper foil to create mesmerizing landscapes in a variety of different sizes. From scenes of birch trees in magical forests to a wavy day on the water, each piece is just as breathtaking as the last. Spice also has a Door County-inspired line of the most iconic scenes in the County you love. Stull-Kinsley, a watercolorist, creates life-like paintings that envision the perfect day. Chad Luberger, Plum Bottom Gallery Owner, says, “the sense of life that is portrayed in Stull-Kinsley’s paintings is invigorating especially after the past year.”
Tom Smith is a nationally known award-winning Plein Air painter. Smith uses a usually “alla prima” technique, which is a direct painting approach where paint is applied wet on wet without letting earlier layers dry. This technique gives his paintings a unique shine that is irreplaceable. Radl is a coffee stain and ink artist who incorporates messages of love, inspiration, hope, and playfulness into each piece. Olson Luberger, co-owner and resident jewelry artist, says that “these pieces make great gifts for anyone or a special gift for yourself. Each is simple, will match any decor, and warm any heart.”

Plum Bottom Gallery was established in 2007 on 20 acres in central Door County by Chad Luberger (resident porcelain artist) and his wife Angela Olson Luberger (resident jewelry artist). Our resident artists have working studios onsite where they created their one-of-a-kind artwork. Chad is a nationally recognized potter known for his unique glaze, style, and brilliant color palette. Angela is a metalsmith known for her beautiful sterling silver creations. She specializes in hand-forged sterling silver jewelry and hand-wrapped gemstone necklaces and earrings. Plum Bottom Gallery represents over 100 nationally collected artists from across the country. It is recognized as a Door County Art Destination.
